Bus Routes

  • Why Can't I See ALL the bus routes and pick the one that matches my origin/destination?

    • Images for each of the bus route maps are generated from the Korean ITS (Intelligent Transport System) and we have no ability to map multiple routes simultaneously. Moreover, each image view is unique in terms of viewpoint, size and aspect ratio, making a single image with multiple overlaid routes impossible. If you would like to take on the task of making one by hand, we'd welcome your work.

  • What are all those dots along the bus routes? Why can't I click on them?

    • See above. The ITS is made more for Ulsan traffic engineers rather than tourists or travelors. The maps we pull from the ITS are not clickable, either. Again, if you'd like to take that on, we'd be happy to host your work.

Movies

  • When I go to the theater, the showtime doesn't match the website posting. WTF?

    • We translate the most current movie listing from the Korean language websites at the end of the week. Sometimes, between our posting and your attending, the times have changed. We simply haven't the time to daily check the sites and update our pages. If you are interested in helping our website, that's certainly an area we could use help on.

  • Sometimes there's no listing for movies at a theater. Are they closed?

    • No, there's just no movies in English that week. There are always movies playing, but if you want to see them and can understand Korean, you probably don't need the listings on this website. Instead, click on the link to the Korean language theater website.

Maps

  • Why are there so many maps?

    • In addition to being divided into neighborhood such as Mugeodong, Samsandong, etc., Ulsan is politically divided into four GUs and one GUN. Those boundaries transcend neighborhoods.
