Monthly Photowalks Across Ulsan

Once a month, our group hits the streets, riversides, and cultural hotspots of Ulsan. These photowalks are designed to help you see the city differently and practice real-world photography skills in a fun, supportive environment.

From the calm reflections at the Taehwa River National Garden to the quirky, colorful backstreets of Jangsaengpo Whale Village, each walk is a new chance to build your portfolio and see parts of Ulsan you might otherwise miss. It’s photography with purpose, and you’re guaranteed to leave each outing with new skills—and some incredible shots.

Hands-On Classes at the Ulsan Support Center

In between photowalks, we gather at the Ulsan Support Center for Foreign Residents. Here, you’ll dive into structured lessons with PowerPoint presentations, hands-on worksheets, and plenty of chances to ask questions and get feedback on your work.

We cover everything from exposure basics and composition to editing and storytelling. You’ll walk away not just knowing how to take better photos, but why your images work—and how to make them even better.

Showcase Your Work at a Professional Gallery Exhibition

This isn’t just a class that ends with a handshake and a certificate. At the end of the year, all students will have the opportunity to present their best photo in a proper gallery exhibition at the Ulsan Culture and Arts Center.

It’s a professionally curated event covered by local news outlets and broadcast on TV, giving your work the kind of platform it deserves. It’s also a proud moment to invite your friends and family and say, “Hey, I did this.”

Take Home a Framed Piece of Your Journey

As part of the gallery exhibition, every student will receive a high-quality, framed print of their displayed image. It’s a lasting memento of your year in the class, and a tangible reminder of how far you’ve come.

Whether you want to hang it in your home or gift it to someone, it’s a powerful way to celebrate your growth and talent.

Learn from a Working Pro

All classes are led by Jason Teale, a professional photographer with work published in National Geographic, Travel+Leisure, and countless other major publications. Jason brings decades of experience to each session, offering insights into the gear, techniques, and storytelling that define great photography.
